    MALAYSIAN shares ended lower on Monday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index slipping 4.08 points to close at 1,817.13.

    Some 2.25 billion lots, valued at RM2.19 billion were traded. Gainers numbered 313 while losers numbered 617.
