    MALAYSIAN shares ended lower on Thursday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index losing 30.92 points to close at 1,694.64.

    Some 1.65 billion lots, valued at RM2.02 billion were traded. Gainers numbered 187 while losers numbered 686.
