MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.72 points to 1,707.73.
Volume was 2.6 billion lots worth RM3 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 702 to 241.
