    MALAYSIAN stocks closed lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 10.47 points to 1,837.90.

    Volume was 3.11 billion shares worth RM3.17 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers by 991 to 163.
