MALAYSIAN shares ended up on Wednesday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index climbing 1.36 points to close at 1,773.75 .

Some 1.72 billion lots, valued at RM1.8 billion were traded. Gainers numbered 529 while losers numbered 295.
