MALAYSIA share prices ended lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 18.74 points or 1.17 per cent to 1,578.89.

Volume hit 4.18 billion lots worth about RM2.91 billion. Losers outnumbered gainers 747 to 338.
