Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.02 points or 0.34 per cent to 1,494.22 as at 9.45am.
Volume was 871.4 million lots worth RM285.33 million.
Gainers beat losers 386 to 182.
