Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 7.33 points, or 0.48 per cent, to 1,543.61 as at 9.04am.

    Volume was 265.84 million lots worth about RM89.95 million. Gainers beat losers 254 to 54.
