Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 9.45 points or 0.59 per cent to 1,611.95 at 9.02am.

    Volume was 130.93 million lots worth RM46.90 million. Gainers beat losers 239 to 54.
