Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.33 points or 0.45 per cent to 1,403.58 as at 9.18am.
Volume was 244.7 million lots worth RM59 million.
Gainers beat losers 298 to 40.
