Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 12.35 points or 0.85 per cent to 1462.09 as at 9.15 am.

    Volume was 456.76 million lots worth RM188.50 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 395 to 71.
