    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 4.34 points or 0.31 per cent to 1,423.03 as at 9.14 am.

    Volume was 189.30 million lots worth RM80.49 million. Gainers outnumbered losers 227 to 104.
