Malaysia shares open higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 8.06 points to 1,811.76 at 9.01am.
Volume was 42.48 million lots worth RM22.38 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 163 to 42.
