    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 8.64 points or 0.56 per cent to 1,547.44 as at 9.07 am.

    Volume was 180.03 million lots worth about RM111.91 million. Gainers beat losers 258 to 116.
