MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday after a bank holiday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 12.45 points to 1699.73.
Volume was 68.48 million lots worth RM31.9 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 144 to 51.
