MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.27 points to 1,625.00 as at 9.41am.
Volume was about 498.5 million lots worth about RM276 million.
Gainers beat losers 262 to 91.
