Malaysia: Shares open higher on Monday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.38 points, or 0.39 per cent, to 1,382.31 as at 9.04am.

    Volume was 4.68 billion lots worth about RM2.74 billion. Gainers beat losers 540 to 340.
