    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.24 points or 0.40 per cent to 1,555.36 at 9.12 pm.

    Volume was 511.19 million lots worth RM122.26 million. Gainers outnumbered losers 218 to 148.
