MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.3 points, or 0.4 per cent to 1,601.1 as at 9.02am.
Volume was 710.9 million lots worth about RM283 million. Gainers beat losers 289 to 229.
