    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 2.51 points, or 0.16 per cent, to 1,584.70 as at 9.20am.

    Volume was 443.83 million lots worth about RM188.68 million. Gainers outnumbered losers 277 to 197.
