    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday (Oct 15) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.66 points or 0.4 per cent to 1,598.18 as at 9.05 am.

    Volume was 169.2 million lots worth about RM91.9 million (S$29.8 million). Gainers outnumbered losers 294 to 92.
