MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 14.5 points, or 0.9 per cent, to 1,586.3 as at 9.01am.
Volume was 169.9 million lots worth about RM68.1 million. Gainers beat losers 221 to 111.
