Malaysia: Shares open higher on Thursday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.46 points, or 0.35 per cent, to 1,583.28 as at 9.14am.

    Volume was 638.39 million lots worth about RM308.02 million. Gainers beat losers 302 to 218.
