Malaysia: Shares open higher on Thursday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up by 2.24 points, or 0.14 per cent, to 1,583.72 as at 9.03am.

    Volume was 150.34 million lots worth about RM57.84 million. Gainers beat losers 172 to 97.
