Malaysia: Shares open higher on Wednesday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index rising 1.7 points, or 0.1 per cent, to 1,583.0 as at 9.01am.

    Volume was 154.4 million lots worth about RM50.9 million. Gainers beat losers 164 to 93.
