    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 3.31 points or 0.22 per cent to 1,538.87 at 9.09 am.

    Volume was 159.02 million lots worth RM68.05 million. Gainers outnumbered losers 174 to 142.
