    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.14 points or 0.32 per cent to 1,598.89 as at 9.13 am.

    Volume was 279.55 million lots worth about RM93.35 million. Gainers beat losers 210 to 152.
