    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 8.02 points or 0.51 per cent to 1,594.00 as at 9.09 am.

    Volume was 233.90 million lots worth about RM110.60 million. Gainers beat losers 235 to 99.
