    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 7.35 points or 0.49 per cent to 1,497.92 as at 9.10 am.

    Volume was 211.41 million lots worth RM83.38 million. Gainers outnumbered losers 233 to 82.
