    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 2.95 points or 0.21 per cent to 1,423.50 as at 9.13 am.

    Volume was 303.72 million lots worth RM78.59 million. Gainers outnumbered losers 161 to 97.
