    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 8.78 points or 0.55 per cent to 1,598.76 as at 9.13 am.

    Volume was 214.20 million lots worth about RM94.36 million. Gainers beat losers 333 to 89.
