    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.74 points to 1,685.36 at 9.01am.

    Volume was 84.2 million lots worth RM34.82 million.

    Gainers beat losers 105 to 80.
