    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 3.17 points to 1,562.17 at 9am.

    Volume was 54.54 million lots worth RM15.45 million.

    Gainers beat losers 103 to 46.
