Malaysia shares open higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened with muted gains on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.82 points, or 0.05 per cent to 1792.73 as at 9.03am.

Volume was 146.4 million lots worth RM50.38 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 151 to 56.
