Malaysia: Shares open higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.16 points to 1,728.17.

Volume was 227.36 million lots worth RM126.98 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 222 to 162.
