    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.68 points or 0.47 per cent to 1,419.72 as at 9.09 am.

    Volume was 169.82 million lots worth RM87.12 million. Gainers outnumbered losers 162 to 106.
