    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday (Oct 18), with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 8.29 points or 0.6 per cent to 1394.56 as at 9.05 am.

    Volume was 101.96 million lots worth RM44.06 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 221 to 53.
