    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.78 points or 0.47 per cent to 1453.20 as at 9.09 am.

    Volume was 134.06 million lots worth RM60.80 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 227 to 87.
