Malaysia: Shares open higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 2.96 points to 1,777.18.
Volume was 113.4 million lots worth RM44.07 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 146 to 87.
