    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 10.21 points or 0.65 per cent to 1,591.35 as at 9.12 am.

    Volume was 293.85 million lots worth about RM161.14 million. Gainers beat losers 309 to 148.
