    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.8 points to 1784,58 at 9am.

    Volume was 40.61 million lots worth RM16.93 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 135 to 40.
