    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 3.52 points or 0.24 per cent to 1449.44 as at 9.09 am.

    Volume was 87.18 million lots worth RM40.64 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 131 to 86.
