Malaysia: Shares open higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.89 points to 1730.94.
Volume was 23.3 million lots worth RM6.9 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 94 to 56.
