    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 12.17 points to 1597.90.

    Volume was 35.8 million lots worth RM15.7 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 164 to 26.
