Malaysia share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down by more than 22 points to 1,509.720.
Volume was 187.5 million lots worth RM94.09 million.
Losers outnumbered gainers 452 to 43.
