    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.84 points to 1,685.64 at 9.01am.

    Volume was 77.95 million lots worth RM22.92 million.

    Gainers beat losers 94 to 74.
