    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.84 points to 1,653.74 at 9am.

    Volume was 41.29 million lots worth RM45.78 million.

    Losers beat gainers 85 to 75.
