    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 9.60 points to 1,629.47 at 9.03am.

    Volume was 102.4 million lots worth RM39.1 million.

    Losers beat gainers 235 to 41.
