Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 9.07 points to 1,683.25 at 9.01am.

    Volume was 34.89 million lots worth RM15.91 million.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 83 to 67.
