Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.1 points to 1688.80.
Volume was 49.35 million lots worth RM12.8 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 60 to 54.
